Frequently Asked Questions
Can these batteries be delivered by sea and air?
Yes, our batteries are approved for both sea and air transport. We provide MSDS and safety test reports confirming them as non-dangerous products.
Is fast charging recommended for Gel batteries?
Fast charging is generally not recommended as it can be harmful to the battery's longevity and internal structure.
What is the typical delivery lead time?
Usually, it takes about 7 days for stock items, 20 days for half-container orders, and approximately 30 days for full 20ft container orders.
How should VRLA batteries be maintained during storage?
Batteries should be recharged every 6 months if stored at 25°C. In hotter climates, we recommend a recharge every 3 months to compensate for self-discharge.
Can I replace only a few batteries in a lead-acid bank?
Partial battery replacement is not recommended for lead-acid banks; it is best to replace the entire set to ensure balanced performance.
Why does capacity vary with the discharge hour rate?
Battery capacity is dynamic. A lower discharge current (e.g., a 20-hr rate) allows the battery to deliver more total Amp-hours than a high discharge current (e.g., a 2-hr rate).
